There are two ways of classifying planets, Level and Type. The Level explains how inhabited it is whereas Type explains what type of planet it is. On each page about a planet both of Level and Type should be disclosed with a link to this page for clarification. Both Level and Type use a number system to classify between the different Levels and Types. When disclosing this information it should be stated like this: Level 1-Type 2. For example, Haversokia is a 4-1 planet. It was ruined by nuclear war, thus Level 4, and is a terrestrial planet, Type 1.
Level:
- Uninhabitable
- Cannot sustain life without the help of technology
- Uninhabited
- No longer inhabited, ruins of civilization left, incapable of sustaining life
- No longer inhabited, ruins of civilization left, uninhabitable without the help of technology
- No longer inhabited, ruins of civilization left, uninhabited
- Inhabited by plant life
- Inhabited by simple animals
- Inhabited by complex animal
- Inhabited by sentient species with simple technology
- Inhabited by sentient species with mechanical transportation and long distance communication
- Inhabited by sentient species capable of limited space travel
- Inhabited by sentient species capable of colonizing other planets
- Inhabited by sentient species capable of reaching other solar systems
- Inhabited by sentient species capable of communicating with other sentient species from another solar system
Type:
- Terrestrial Planet
- Gaseous Planet
- Dwarf Planet
- Carbon Planet
- Liquid Planet
- Iron Planet
- Double Planet
- Extragalactic Planet
- Protoplanet
- Rogue Planet
- Pulsar Planet
- Hollow Planet
- Circumbinary Planet
- Manufactured Planet
- Sentient Planet
In the case of multiple Types, such as a planet manufactured with organic materials, and if such planet was also a sentient robot, then it would be classifed as: Planet Name, 15-1.14.15. Remember that the lowest Type number always goes first and the highest Type number alway goes last.
